"Be Still My Soul" 42"x52", sheet music and acrylic on canvas. Tried a new technique using not the value of the paper of different music for the shading but I used the same piece of music for the whole thing (an arrangement of Be Still My Soul) and the notes themselves are the shading. Background is green for the living Christ and the eternal life available to us through His atonement. Blue for the calmness and serenity this knowledge gives us and gold for the blessings we find even in turmoil. Hoped to have this finished for Easter but better late than never.

"Rock Bottom" acrylic
No matter how small or far from Heaven we feel like we are, the Savior is right there with us, not just reaching but by our side. He knows how to help us because he went there and meets us where we're at in whatever state we turn to Him. The Rock of our Salvation is with us at our lowest points as well as the highs.

"And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.". Alma 7:11-12
